After almost a year of waiting we leave tomorrow to meet Riley’s service dog. The bags are packed. The groceries are bought, the cat/house sitter arrives in the morning(poor cats, they’ve never met a dog in their lives)!
I honestly have very little idea what to expect at 4 Paws. I do know the dog sees its family as a pack. I like the concept.
Pack O’Neil, reporting for duty.
I’ll be blogging about the experience on the service dog page (up and to the right). Thank you to everyone who has supported us on the way to Jingle.
Much love,
Pack O’Neil
Journey mercies! I’m so excited for you ALL! Really!
So exciting! Can’t wait to read more about Jingle!
Have a wonderful time getting to know your new family member! Jingle is going to be a game-changer. Thrilled for you all and especially for Riley.
Thinking of you all on your amazing adventure – keep safe.
LOVE to all and Jingle
Oh, wow! It is about time. 🙂
Best of luck to Pack O’Neil, Ruth and I will be rooting for you!
A very strange thing happened to me this weekend, I found myself at the local Humane Society looking at dogs. Long story short, we will also be picking up our dog this week (Wednesday). I hope we will make a good pack also.
PS- I told my husband you are at least part to blame if it goes badly. On the other hand I will give you all the credit if it goes well. Good Luck.
Traveling mercies to you all. What a grand adventure this will be.
Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle….
Have a wonderful, wonderful time!
a long time in coming! thrilled for you guys!
Wonderful! So excited for you! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
So excited for you all, but wait, did someone let the cat out of the bag? (Exhibit A: curled up furry thing on top of suitcase.)
That is a cat who wished he was coming with us. The student staying at our house will spoil him rotten and he will never notice we’ve been gone, ’til we show up with a dog!
Good luck!!! WOOF!!
YAY!!! Go fetch.
🙂
