This week’s educational field trip(weather permitting) will be to the shelter depicted above. Riley is over the moon with excitement. Her passion for cats is intense, and we will learn all about how this no-kill shelter operates.
I’ve promised not to return with another cat. My marriage depends upon it. Send us strength.
Lovingly yours,
MO’N & Riley
P.S. Lydia…I dedicate this post to you.
Eek! I wish you luck. I love cats, too.
Have fun, Riley!
xo
i don’t know. i’m worried. you’re going to see some pretty adorable cats. leaving without one…that’s a tall order. i’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. i know riley will be in cat heaven, so it will be nice to see her beaming face, enjoy that.
Hi Michelle –
I didn’t have your email, so I am posting this here. I hope you don’t mind. I thought you would be interested in the story of this talented (home-schooled!) young man:

So how’s the scaredy cat in the attic doing? This just reminded me of it…maybe they can give you some tips, but I still reckon it’ll be collecting it’s pension chez O’Neil! LOL! I find it SO hard going to animal shelters – I just want to take them ALL home!!
what a creative outing!!
would you be allowed to bring home a dog? :o)
I will send you strength, I don’t know if I would have it! How cool. I love the colorful round “beds” they were sleeping in.
Yeah, right. Umm…good luck with that.
Wait – are there any rules about bringing home the Yummy Vet Tech? I’m JUSSSST Sayin…MEEEOOOWWWWWW!
Thanks for sharing this video. Are there others like this place?
So funny Dawn!
Thanks Julie! Great story!
So? Were you successful? Did you come home catless? You didn’t get the funky eye one, did you?
