Riley’s latest video

The following is something Riley has been working on. Film making is “her passion.”

About her latest video, in her own words:

This is a story about a girl who is bullied because of her weight and commits suicide. This video is just to show people what might happen if you bully someone. FYI, this video is not based on something that really happened. Although this video is made with Littlest Pet Shop toys, it is geared more toward preteens and teenagers.

Our girl. She’s somethin’ else.

Love.

  2. shannon says:

wow – her voices and expression are fantastic – seriously!

(although, must say: SO DISTURBING, this video is! If it had come from anyone but Riley, I would be really concerned! “knowing” her, though … it’s really just the sweetest expression of concern and wanting to DO something to help solve the problem!)

  4. Michelle O'Neil says:

It is disturbing! But a child as sheltered and protected as she has been, …is still forced to process the realities of the world. I applaud her way of doing it, turning it into art and hoping to help others in the process.

Riley is an amazing young lady. Her passion for film-making shows – I can see the effort and attention to detail that went into this. She tells such a complete story. A disturbing story, yes, but she is a true film maker: using the medium to tell a story and send a message. Brilliant! Someday I will say “I knew her when….”

  6. Camille says:

Wow! All I can say is wow! Great job Riley. That was amazing

Wow! Riley did a beautiful job of telling a very sad story. I am impressed with so many elements of her film making, but above all her ability to edit the film to the right amount of dialogue and content. Looking forward to more!

OMGosh, I am so impressed with Riley to make this video. I would love to share it with some others, but only with your permission. She is AWESOME.

Wow. She is really good at this! Amazing! I also noted, and loved, HOW her mom talked to her…How she (R) was clear that the mom was trying to be loving and gentle, but how the character was still wounded…Very interesting, that level of thought. Shes only going to get better and better at film-making, I can see it now. Wow.

    🙂

That was wow! I can tell this is her passion, she put so much thought into it. The special effect and music and timing were just fabulous. Can’t wait to see her work on the big screen!

This video is AWESOME! We just watched it in my 10th grade reading class. The class is an intervention class for students who are reading below grade level. Many of them have experienced being bullied, and some of them confessed to having been the bully. Riley’s video prompted a discussion on the seriousness of the subject.
